LoudArc curates lots of playlists and invest heavily in advertising our playlists to grow high quality playlists. Some playlists  we grow more organically and may have fewer followers and some have many followers and are being grown through finding the right target groups by facebook/instagram and google targeted advertising.

We have two types of playlists: 

1. Playlists that you will need to submit to eigther at dailyplaylists or soundplate. We will listen to you submitted track and if it is a good fit to the playlist you have submitted to and we like it, we will add it to the playlist. Usually the track will be staying on the playlist for 2 - 8 weeks. The majority of our playlist is of this kind. 

2. The second type of playlist is a form of algorithmic playlist. These are the Synth Top Lists and Synth Discovery playlists. The Top Lists are divided into three leages (A,B and C) and the reason for that is that it makes no sense to compare a track from say Depeche Mode with a track from an artist with a few hundred listenters per month. 

The toplists uses an algorithm that look at a combination of different data such as release date, popularity, streams and so on and builds the toplist using this algorithm every Friday. 

The Synth Discovery playlist uses a similar kind of algorithm, but also have a random component so that every artist actually have a chance to get onto this Discovery playlist. We also may add tracks ondemand as we get submissions to the playlist.
